SHE'S MORE THAN JUST HER WEIGHT
She bends down and
breathes heavily as she
prays that the belly pouch just vanishes away
She avoids mirrors
So she could avoid the body she doesn't want to see
She buys clothes online
So she doesn't have to deal with the embarrassment she possesses for herself
She tucks her stomach in when someone tries to click a picture
So she hates herself a little less
She looks at her body in disgust
Never to realize
Her weight isn't her definition
Neither does the centimeters between her thighs define her
Her weight isn't the entirety of her
Her body is more than just her weight
She doesn't realize that
Her body is the vessel through which she is supposed to witness this world
Her body that she hates right now is the same body she will have once she gets to her desired size
She looks at her body in disgust
Never to realize
She has to be healthy not thin
She has to take care of herself
She has to be kind to herself
Rather than hating and starving herself
She doesn't realize
The group of teenagers that laughed out when she walked past them didn't laugh at her
But its the insecurity of hers that made her the clown in the circus she didn't wanna be in
She doesn't realize
her weight isn't her definition
Neither does the centimeters between her thighs define her
