LET ME BE SOMEONE

Oh God,

I demand to be filled with 

the strength of love 

the stability of kindness

the durability of  compassion 

The realization of how this world is,

I figured I could use some strength in love

as love is seen as a weakness 

and people tend to run away 

I figured I could use some Stability 

as kindess disappears in the slightest of disappointments 

and people tend to forget 

I figured I could use some Durability 

as Compassion wears off when corruption takes the lead 

and people tend to escape 

So,

 please let me be Someone 

Who wouldn't run away when my love is viewed as weakness

because I'll hold the strength behind it 

let me be Someone 

who would'nt forget kindness when disappointed 

for I'll stick to the Stability of Kindness

let me be Someone 

who wouldn't Escape when Compassion is at stake 

for I realize the durability of my compassion
